I have used the Fishergate carpark in Preston many times when I travel by train because it is much cheaper than the station carpark. It's very easy to book a parking spot online and there is plenty of space even for larger vehicles.

A large carpark, generally easy to find a space and just across the road from the entrance to the railway station. I booked it as a safe option to park while waiting to meet a friend whose train was delayed. At approx £2 for 90 minutes it avoided the risk of getting a parking ticket in the 20 minute waiting bay or the very expensive station carpark.

Easy to book on line and give a timeline of when you are leaving your car - ball park drop off and pick up times. Park up with out a problem, parking anywhere within the car park and then leaving without any trouble via registration recognition- so no tickets needed

Very easy to pre book. Even without, very easy payment system. Only one time, did not get paper receipt. Very easy to find space and hugely convenient for my train journeys from Preston. Definitely recommend.
