On the booking process, it was not as good as expected. The link provided was for a different Travelodge, and if you’re not paying close attention, this could go very wrong. The really poor score, however, comes from the lack of clear directions to the car park. It would have been easy to state the road it is on or simply mention that it is in the same building as the hotel. Google Maps and all the other map apps we used directed us to a different location. We spent quite a long time trying to find it before eventually going to the hotel to ask, only to find out that the car park was actually there. Not good at all.

Great parking for the Harbourside and The Hippodrome. Very easy to find and they had plenty of parking spaces. Would definitely book again

Handily placed, but didn’t feel it was a particularly safe space in which to park. There were a lot of homeless people at the far end of the car park, with bedding and belongings stashed there, poor folk. There was glass in one parking space which looked as if a car window had been broken.

The car park was easy to get to and signposted well. The spaces were very tight with a car next to you but we managed to get into one with a Ford puma. Some people were parked across two spaces limiting how many spaces were available. The main downfall was that drug users have set up a tent and have several mattresses/ living area at the back of the car park. They are using about 10 spaces which are covered in rubbish and duvets. They have obviously been there for some time and travlodge must know they are there. There were people coming and going from the tent. The smell was awful. There were needles everywhere. It made us feel very unsafe at night returning to the car park. We saw smashed glass everywhere which looked like a car had its window smashed in at some point. We paid £20 to park for a few hours and we’re hoping for security but it felt very unsafe
