Parking spaces located on Ashdown Forest in Wych Cross. The spaces are close to Mickey Modern Art Gallery. The spaces are suitable for vehicles up to the size of a Large - (4x4).

The spaces are available 6AM until midnight on all days. You can enter/exit this car park multiple times throughout the duration of your booking.

** Prohibited parking between midnight and 6am **

Your booking covers all car parks within the Ashdown Forest estate

    Had problem logging into my new account on the website portal but was able to use the verify email address button from my first registration and booking to be redirected to the login page. It worked. Entered the loction but the search returned info not related and places with same name far away. Had to repeat search a few times before the right car park in Ashdown Forest Maresfield came up. On the map the pin showed the right location but I could not see the price tag so could not proceed with the booking..I could see other prices for nearby car parks. By chance I shrank the map and the price tag appeared way off. At this stage I was flustered as It was getting late to go there. I used the tag, booked the space and paid. When I received the email confirmation I realiised I had booked the wrong car park in Wych Cross miles away. I was confused as the spaces belong to Ashdown Forest as a group but one can park into any space. Got to car park , met friends so only stayed 10 minutes. My duckduck.com browser displays an error message re client not bring registered when I go direct to the portal. I do not want to download the app. Will try to sortbout the login problem when I have time but annoyed I have to spend time doing it!

    Smaller car park with access to Old Lodge Nature Reserve which is a lovely place to walk a dog and spot birds with some gorgeous views of the Ashdown Forest

    App worked first time, unlike my experience with Just Park recently. However, I seemed to get the messages about my parking being due to expire several hours after it had already ended.

    I always pay online in advance for Ashdown Forest and it is trouble-free. It is only clear from the small print that one payment entitles you to park in any of the parking places in the Forest, so when asked where you want to park you need to know just to put the Visitor Centre. Even in the middle of summer I've never worried about getting a space. The Forest management do not go out of their way to advertise their links to Pooh Bear, so if that's why you're going you need to do your do your research beforehand or take the time to use trial and error.

    We had considerable difficulty paying the fee to park in the forest space on a previous occasion using a mobile because signal strength is weak. Other people trying to park by mobile were also very cross. However, using yourparkingspace & booking in advance avoided this hassle & we will definitely use this method again when we go back. A great improvement.
